*Terms & Conditions:

Information we must provide in terms per the Funeral Goods and Services Information Standard contained in the Fair Trading Regulation 2019 under the Fair Trading Act 1987:a
  1. All prices listed include GST.
  2. Prices for funeral services conducted within the Sydney metropolitan area.
  3. Saturday, Sunday and after hours services incur additional charges from $500
  4. Transfers outside the Sydney metropolitan area incur additional charges (by negotiation).
  5. Charges are subject to variation without notice.
  6. Final cost is dependent on options chosen and will be confirmed by provision of an itemised tax invoice prior to the funeral.
  7. Our coffins and caskets are priced from $1,695 up to $37,500.
  8. Charges included in our professional fees for both Single and Dual services are:
    • – Transfer of deceased within a 100km radius – $550. Outside this radius is charged at $50 per additional 100 klms or part thereof.
    • – Mortuary care and hygienic preparation of the deceased – $450.
    • – We do not hire refrigeration plates.
    • – Coordination and conducting of the Funeral service, completion of paperwork, liaison with Celebrant/Clergy.
    • – Wages and salary of staffing for the service.
    • – Storage of the deceased at our mortuary facilities .
    • – Viewing of the deceased , No charge during office hours, an additional $300 per 4 hours outside business hours.
  9. Repatriation Services overseas or interstate will be quoted on an at needs basis.
  10. Livestream at Crematorium chapels is currently free of charge (as at 1st Dec 2020).
  11. Livestream, outside broadcast is quoted on an site basis.
  12. Death Certificate $70 as per N.S.W, B.D & M charges.
  13. Attending Doctors Cremation Certificate and Medical Doctors Referee Certificate are normally around the $120 mark each.
  14. Organising an Order of Service / Mass Booklet directly with printer is free.
  15. Cremation and chapel hire fee $1,325 (this does differ slightly between venues but includes venue hire and cremation costs).
  16. Cemetery fees can start from as low as approx $4,000 subject to location, site and out of area surcharge. Once advised of the clients preferred location a price can be obtained for the respective cemetery for an accurate quotation.
 

Disclosures :

As per the Funeral Goods and Services Information Standard contained in the Fair Trading Regulation 2019 under the Fair Trading Act 1987:

  • a. Our Mortuary facilities are located at 69 Powers Road, Seven Hills and are owned by David & Melissa Walker
  • b. Transport of the deceased will be in a unmarked mortuary van by Ian J. Arthur & Sons [IJA], and the deceased will be kept at Seven Hills.
  • c. We do from time to time engage other contractors to transfer our deceased when logistical issues arise. They also travel in an unmarked mortuary van.
  • d. We use all the major and some private Crematoriums and Cemeteries in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong for burial and cremation purposes as listed below. Our deceased are transferred in unmarked mortuary vans or hearses in accordance with Health Department regulations. Not all of the smaller cemeteries are listed here but we are able to conduct services at them subject to council and/or church approval. Please don’t hesitate to ask us any questions that may arise.
