12th November 1928 – 25th July 2022

Much loved husband of Irene, father of Patrick, Ephrem, Helen and Martha, father-in-law to Hans, Asha and Peter, grandfather of Raphael, Rebecca, Coco and Pravin and great-grandfather of Sara and Jay.

Born in Kerala, India, migrated to Singapore where he was a high school teacher for 25 years, before becoming a citizen of Australia and continuing to teach in schools in Perth till retirement. Lived for several years in Brisbane and spent the last 28 years of his life in Sydney.

Deeply religious in the Christian tradition, life-long exponent of yoga and passionate advocate for peace.

Family and friends of Martin are invited to attend his funeral service, to be held on Monday 1st August 2022 in the Camellia Chapel, Macquarie Park Cemetery (Plassey Rd, North Ryde) commencing at 1:30pm. The service will be followed by his interment in the cemetery grounds.
